Trails End Wildlife Studio was started by Heidi Elzinga in 2024, who apprenticed under and worked for a local taxidermist for 3 years before moving out on her own.

Her first project was to make a rug out of a black bear she shot, then moving on to learning how to mount owls, skin paws and turn faces, fleshing and salting hides and mounting birds of all kinds.

Services offered are and are not limited to:

  • Bear rugs

  • Wolf rugs

  • Cougar rugs

  • Lifesize mounts

  • Half Mounts

  • Shoulder mounts

  • Skull cleaning

  • Bird mounts

Wall, floor and table display options are available for however you want to see your trophy.
